Lonny, in the Flesh!

Like most of you I’m sure, I love Lonny Magazine. For a while now I’ve been meaning to start ordering the paper copy from MagCloud. They’re more like the price of a book, but they’re so meaty and (in my opinion) just as worthy as any home decor book purchase. Since the price can add up, I decided to order maybe one or so per month as a monthly treat and spread the cost over time.

To start I ordered the first few issues, which are a bit less costly than some of the others. I’ve never ordered from MagCloud before, but they do not disappoint! The printed editions are beautiful and the paper is much, much thicker than that of a magazine.  So they’re really more like soft cover books, which means they should hold up well. You can order your copy here.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lugged my Domino magazines up and down the stairs between reading them in bed and flipping through them at our table downstairs.  I expect I’ll get good use out of my printed Lonnys, and they’ll be a great guest perk for when our friends and family stay over!

XO,

Heather

P.S. Read more about our vintage-chic Moroccan tray tables (and their makeover) here.

Vintage Couch Legs

I finally got around to putting these new “shoes” on the couch after polishing the wood and cleaning the brass ends. I like to think of it as going from the chunky heel to the stilletto.

I haven’t put the rest on our Ikea sectional, but that change will be more dramatic.

Heather

iPhone Art

I took these photos on the moving sidewalk between the east and west buildings at the Smithsonian’s National Gallery of Art a couple of years ago when we were in Washington D.C. They were taken with my iPhone.  I’m thinking they would look cool framed.  What do you think?

XO,

Heather
